The WelComm project was presented at the General Assembly of the European network EURORESO on 27 February 2015 in Athens, Greece in front of 47 participants from 18 countries. As a result a few organisations expressed their willingness to support the project development as associated partners.
The second partner meeting took place in Siena, Italy on 5-6 February 2015. The partners discussed the results of the performed needs analyses and the selection of good practices and laid grounds for the development of the methodological framework of the WelComm products. The didactic approach was presented and it will be taken as a basis for the development of the concept for the language learning materials.
The first large-scale step in disseminating the WelComm project in Valencia, Spain was made on 27 January 2015 within a national workshop attended by 20 participants from 11 migrant associations as well as representatives of the Immigration Department of the Socialist Party (PSPV-PSOE).
The kick-off project meeting was held in Rotterdam, The Netherlands on 17-18 November 2014. The meeting was focused on developing a detailed plan for project implementation, pinpointing the short-term tasks and responsibilities and developing an approach towards involving relevant organisations and individuals in the project activities. The partners also agreed on the final versions of the questionnaires for the needs analyses and started collecting feedback from the target groups.
