WelComm 2 Explore Europe project was presented during the EURORESO General Assembly in Prague to representatives of European organisations working in the fields of education, integration and social inclusion.

The WelComm project was presented to potential beneficiaries during a big celebration in Valencia on 21st May 2019, as part of the program on the occasion of the International day of cultural diversity. The main event took place in the “Plaza de la Virgen”, with the performances of 20 migrant organisations.

WelComm2 Explore Europe partners met in March 2019 in Valencia, Spain to work on the concepts of the WelComm board game and agree on the process for creating the comic books and recording the educational videos. They also had the opportunity to experience the extraordinary festivities that are held each year – Las Fallas de Valencia.

In November 2018 an enthusiastic team from six European countries (Belgium, Bulgaria, The Netherlands, Romania, Spain and the U.K.) gathered for a kick-off meeting in Sofia, Bulgaria to discuss and agree on the detailed plan for project implementation. The partners defined the schedule for fulfilling the ambitious project targets and set up short-term tasks.
